Well it’s simple really. We saw ourselves and friends paying high costs for all kinds of insurance, most of which were mandatory. We knew that we weren’t the only ones feeling like they were just paying and paying big, so we decided to do something about it. We created Quote Guardian as a way for the common man or woman to be able to “shop the market” for insurance from a multitude of companies for free…and get as many quotes back as they wanted in the attempt to reduce the money they have to spend to get insurance. We charge "zero" for your inquiry, so relax, have some fun and feel free to shop around. That’s what we’ve designed the site to do… Allow you shop for better insurance prices, reduce the premiums you pay, and keep more money in your pocket. Like we said…Simple. We are here "Guarding you from higher insurance costs." So come on, check us out and let’s see if we can help you save money on insurance.
Matthew A. Tomlin, age 28, Chief Executive Officer
The boring stuff: Matt oversees all aspects of business development, sales, marketing, communications and planning. He earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Cincinnati in 2003 with a dual-degree in History with a minor in Political Science and Economics.
Matt was most recently president of a regional insurance agency headquartered in Dayton, OH and before that, he was an insurance agency owner and agent with a prominent, national insurance carrier.
Before entering the insurance field he was a vice president for a large national company that exclusively provided security services to the shopping center and tourism industry. While there, he oversaw a budget in excess of $20 million and oversaw the acquisition and merger of a regional security company. During this time Matthew was also put in charge of expanding operations into the tourism industry including casinos, hotels and resorts. Prior to that, Mr. Tomlin was a customer service manager for a large regional theme park in southwest Ohio. Matt and his wife Jamie enjoy donating to multiple charities including
Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati,
The United Way, and
The Boy Scouts of America.
Matt has a documented record of achievement in sales, marketing and customer/business relations in highly competitive markets and has the ability to see the total picture of objectives necessary to execute in order to guard you against paying higher insurance premiums and higher costs.
Fun Trivia: What common phrase does Matt like to say when joking about high insurance costs to other friends who see high insurance premiums?
Chris Hammond, age 33, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Information Officer
Yeah, this is probably boring too: Chris is a former student of the University of Maryland majoring in Public Administration (Pre-Law), Computer Science and Information Technology. His eight year career as a United States Marine Corps Sergeant led to computer database creation and administration fields, which gave him clear vision about records procurement and management.
During military service, Chris co-founded Hammond International, a business development firm committed to teaching entrepreneurs success principles, sound business strategies for growth, and interpersonal people and team skills. He and his wife Brenda enjoy donating to multiple charities such as
Mercy Ministries,
Answers in Genesis,
YWAM, and
The American Family Association.
Chris furthered his career by attending the Sandler Sales Institute and became a professional sales representative in the Information Technologies and Computer Learning industries by personally adding over 350 new customers to company rosters and increasing sales by almost $250,000 in just over 12 months. Chris is currently a staff salesman for
Agency Technologies, Inc., a Technical Services, Web site development and Hosting company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Agency Technologies has been an innovator and forerunner of managed technologies services to the insurance industry for over 25 years, which has positioned him and the Quote Guardian to gain extensive inside expertise to propel it to benefit his fellow consumers who have to buy insurance as well.
Fun Trivia: How did Chris invent the Guardian for “Quote Guardian”?
